Basics About the Coverage

The Lifetime Limited Powertrain Warranty* at Aaron Ford of Escondido begins on the date you buy a qualified pre-owned vehicle from our dealership, and it continues until you no longer own the vehicle.  Your warranty will give you protection for the transmission, engine, front drive axle and rear drive axle, transfer case and drive shafts. In addition, coverage for seals and gaskets is included for the Powertrain components listed above. 

Qualified pre-owned vehicles have pass a comprehensive 150-point inspection.  We want to make sure when you buy a qualifying vehicle from us it will meet our high standards for quality.  The inspection will be done by an experienced ASE Certified and factory trained service technician.

24/7 Emergency Roadside Assistance: Peace of Mind on the Road

The Lifetime Limited Powertrain Warranty* comes with 10 FULL YEARS of 24-hours a day and 7 days a week round-the-clock assistance.  Roadside assistance benefits pay up to $100 per occurrence for covered roadside assistance.  Our customers can rest assured that this protection is available all day long, every day of the week.  This program includes the following special benefits:

  • Towing: When it's needed because of a mechanical failure, we will tow your vehicle back to our dealership if within a 50-mile radius.
  • Flat tire change: Your flat tire will be removed and then we will put your spare tire in its place.
  • Battery service: A "jump start" will be applied in attempt to start the covered vehicle.
  • Lockout assistance: If you find you've accidentally locked your keys inside your vehicle, one of our service technicians will open your car so you can get back into it.
  • Fuel, oil, fluid and water delivery: Any time you need an emergency delivery of gas, oil or other essential fluids, we can make it happen. The only thing you'll have to cover is the cost of fluids delivered to you.

All you Have to do is Fulfill Some Fundamental Responsibilities

Our Lifetime Limited Powertrain Warranty* is available to you on select vehicles at no extra cost.  To keep that warranty in effect, you'll be responsible for properly maintaining your vehicle by following the recommendations of the manufacturer.  In addition, if one or more parts fail, you will be expected to take reasonable precautions to protect your vehicle from incurring additional damage.  We will also ask you to keep records of routine maintenance you have performed and follow the correct procedures stipulated for receiving benefits.

In addition, we will ask you to simply cooperate with our request to inspect the maintenance records for your vehicle, do a proper examination and help us establish ownership when you submit a benefit claim.  Maintenance records must include maintenance record for work you've had performed along with receipts for parts and services you purchased.  Pre-authorization will be required if you want to get repairs done at a shop other than the one we operate.
